My Story
Hi, I’m Lily, the creator of Lily Aria and the artist behind all of the designs! I’m sure you’ve heard the stereotype of the starving artist before, which was probably what popped into my Mom’s head when I told her I wanted Art to be my career. The idea for a phone case company came to me because I needed to find a career that would keep my passion for art and creating as a focus in my life while also hopefully being successful. I wanted to set this idea into motion so badly for a really really long time, but I just didn’t have the self discipline or work ethic needed to put in all the hours it took.
Following what felt like two of the craziest years ever, I began reading fantasy series following different female main characters on their adventures. I recognized their strength within myself; their determination to never give up even when things seemed impossible made me realize that I need to follow my dreams no matter how hard it seemed. I remember one day I finally sat down and had a vision for the Coastal Cowgirl case and it sparked all these other ideas that I threw myself into, just like the girls in my books would do. Drawing each design took anywhere from 9-27 hours plus more to reformat them for different phone sizes. I knew I had to give it my all and make sure each design was perfect no matter how many times I had to change or redrawn parts, but I just kept going like the girls in my books would have. After 6 months of hard work, it feels like the time flew by and I am now officially launching Lily Aria!

Lily Aria is about more than just selling phone cases, it's about bringing more beauty, art, and personal expression into the world around us. These aren’t just my designs, they are a piece of my heart that follows all of you anywhere and everywhere you take your phone. Because my designs are hand drawn digitally, every stroke and detail is deliberately created to enhance the overall aesthetic of the design, ensuring that each case is unique, rather than a monotony of repetitive patterns.
Once my company expands, it is my greatest wish to one day be able to print on cases made out of recycled or fully biodegradable materials that still ensure the phone is protected. Currently, my cases are made from polycarbonate and rubber, which are both able to be completely recycled through TerraCycle, along with being shipped in fully biodegradable packaging! Also, our manufacturers are committed to sustainability by using raw, ethical, and locally sourced materials, as well as recycling all misprints and waste.
